OS4 OpenLinux, a custom Linux distribution compatible with Ubuntu and Debian Linux that aims for ease of use and user friendliness, has just reached version 14.1.

The goal of OS4 OpenLinux is to offer users a Linux alternative to Windows and Mac OS that is just as simple and ready to use as its counterparts.

Highlights of OS4 OpenLinux 14.1:

• The distribution is now based on Xfce 4.11; • Audacious is now the default audio player; • VLC has been set as the default video player; • Pinta image editor has been upgraded to version 1.4; • GNOME Office is now the default office suite; • Chromium has been set as the default Internet browser.
