OS4 OpenDesktop 13.2 Beta Is Powered by Linux Kernel 3.2

Roberto J. Dohnert has announced a couple of days ago, on December 30, 2012, that the Beta release of the upcoming OS4 OpenDesktop 13.2 Linux operating system is now available for download and testing.

Being powered by Linux kernel 3.2.0-35, OS4 OpenDesktop 13.2 Beta comes with Thunar 1.6.1 file manager, parental controls, a system profile and a benchmark utility. It is distributed only as a 32-bit ISO image.

“Today we are releasing OS4 OpenDesktop 13.2 BETA with it you get Kernel 3.2.0-35, Thunar 1.6.1, Parental Controls, System Profiler and Benchmark utility.”

“This system is not for production use but rather for testing and reporting bugs,” said Roberto J. Dohnert, creator of OS4, in the official release announcement.

Download OS4 OpenDesktop 13.2 Beta
right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
