Apple has made it easier in OS X Mavericks to work with passwords, as it now offers a dedicated application to manage personal details with just a few clicks.

The so-called iCloud Keychain is a full-featured password manager implemented into OS X 10.9 to store usernames, passwords, credit card information, and other details away from prying eyes.

It offers powerful AES 256-bit encryption and even includes synchronization options to transfer details between your devices.

At the same time, it also packs a password generator to create impossible to guess passwords for your online accounts, as well as options to automatically fill username and password fields in forms you find on the Internet.

Checkouts are now just a matter of seconds, as the new iCloud Keychain automatically fills the necessary information, so all you need to enter is your card’s security code.
