Mac customer relationship management company Ntractive rolled out Elements CRM version 4.1, which meets Apple's new sandboxing guidelines and incorporates Gatekeeper technology for OS X Mountain Lion. Ntractive
’s customer relationship management app includes new features, but the company’s focus with this release is more than obvious – security.
“Staying on the forefront of Apple's latest technologies, Ntractive has incorporated these new security features to keep their customers up to date with Apple's progressive OS roadmap and new technologies,” says Ntractive.
“Elements CRM 4.1 also includes hundreds of minor enhancements and stability fixes as well as adding many new features to the app,” the company adds.
By far the biggest enhancement in Elements CRM 4.1 is Gatekeeper
Soon-to-be-available in OS X Mountain Lion next month, Gatekeeper helps protect you from downloading and installing malicious software on your Mac, especially when you’re not downloading from the Apple-curated Mac App Store.
The tool gives users more control over which apps get installed.
There are three options available: 1. you can download and install apps from anywhere on the web; 2. download and install apps from the Mac App Store, which Apple touts as “the safest place to find apps for your Mac;” 3. install apps from the Mac App Store and (signed) apps from identified developers – the Gatekeeper default option.
“We are constantly improving and refining the app for our customers. We believe in keeping up with the ever-changing world of technology, not only for technological improvements, but to give our customers a better experience in managing their business," says Justin Bartak, Ntractive's founder and CEO.
