Apple plans to address some newly found bugs in OS X Mountain Lion by means of a “supplemental” 10.8.5 update which carries five extra increments over the original build.

9to5mac has obtained a screen picture (likely from a software engineer testing the update) showing the release notes that Apple will include with OS X v10.8.5 Supplemental Update (12F42) 1.0.

According to the leak, “The OS X v10.8.5 Supplemental Update is recommended for all users running OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.5.”

Some bugs are then enumerated as being addressed in this upcoming release, including an issue with applications not being able to use the FaceTime HD camera on mid-2013 MacBook Airs, a problem causing external drives to be ejected during sleep, a bug involving audio routed through an HDMI connection, and some compatibility woes with USB Bluetooth adapters.
