14 DAY TRIAL // The latest BlackBerry OS 7.1 update is now being delivered across all Canadian carriers. TELUS, Bell, WIND Mobile, Mobilicity and others have already received the update for all, or some of the BlackBerry devices in their portfolios.
Today, it’s regional carrier SaskTel’s turn to make its customers happy. OS 7.1 major update is now available for download for BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860.
As expected, the update is available via BlackBerry Desktop Manager, so make sure you have the latest version installed on your PC.
BlackBerry OS 7.1 brings WiFi hotspot functionality, BlackBerry Tag with NFC sharing, as well as lots of performance enhancements to FaceBook, Twitter, SMS & MMS Messaging, BlackBerry Music, Camera, HD Video Playback, and BlackBerry Maps.
Make sure the phone’s battery is fully charged before trying to upgrade.
