OPPO has released a new firmware package developed for its BDP-103 and BDP-105 Blu-ray disc players, namely version 58-0719, which increases the devices’ overall performance by adding improvements and support for various features.

Specifically speaking, the package enhances the audio/video synchronization when streaming from different TV boxes connected to the HDMI port, and resolves the USB issue that made the device slow down or even stop completely when browsing files from the drive.

In addition, it removes the loud popping noise that was sometimes heard at the end of different music tracks, and fixes the black screen problem that occurred when accepting a cable TV signal through the HDMI ports.

Moreover, the newly released firmware improves CUE and DSD file compatibility, and adds support for the “MediaControlHD” iOS application and for ALAC audio file format.

Furthermore, the player now briefly displays the current audio information on its front panel, and gets a new option that allows it to switch the input source by pressing the “INPUT” button followed by a number (such as “1” for “BLU-RAY PLAYER,” or “2” for “HDMI/MHL-IN FRONT”).

That being said, follow the link below, and from the list, choose the one that best describes your OPPO Blu-ray player.
