The phone will be much more expensive than other similarly spec'd handsets

On March 19, Chinese mobile phone maker OPPO will make official its next high-end device in the Find series, in the form of OPPO Find 7, and some info on its pricing has already emerged online.

The smartphone was already confirmed to arrive on the market in two different versions, one packing a full HD screen inside and the other with a 2K display, and it seems that OPPO’s stores in China are already teasing the former.

However, it appears that the lower spec’d full HD device won’t be cheap, although it was actually expected to hit the market with a much lower price tag attached to it.

To be more precise, the phone is said to be teased at around 3498 Yuan ($570 / €410), which could sound a bit too high for some people, especially when considering that there are rival devices available on shelves with similar specs but lower cost.

As GizChina notes, the Xiaomi Mi3 is one such example, currently available for purchase at only 2000 Yuan ($325 / €235). On the other hand, the OPPO Find 7 still sounds much cheaper than the iPhone 5S or the Galaxy S5, that’s for sure.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Find 7 is expected to hit shelves with a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. Moreover, it is expected to feature a 13-megapixel camera on the back.
