Several weeks ago, OPPO has officially announced the upcoming availability of a series of handsets in the market in India, starting with the OPPO N1, its latest flagship device, but it seems that it will soon release some more smartphones in the country.

One of these is expected to be the OPPO Find 5, which has already started to emerge at retailers in the country, despite the fact that it was not announced for India as of now.

The mobile phone has yet to make an appearance on OPPO India’s website, but AndroidGuruz is already listing it, suggesting that it won’t be long before users in the country can grab it.

The smartphone is listed with 16GB of internal memory and with a price tag of Rs. 27,445 ($440/€324) attached, in line with its cost in other countries out there.

However, as gadgetstouse notes, the retailer is not one of the most reliable source of information out there, and we should wait for an official announcement from OPPO to arrive before planning the purchase of this phone.

For those out of the loop, we should note that OPPO Find 5 was made official with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen display capable of delivering a 441ppi pixel density, and with a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection on top.

Moreover, the smartphone features a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon APQ8064 processor inside, with Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM.

OPPO Find 5 was launched in 16GB and 32GB versions, with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, and with a 1.9MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The smartphone also comes with the usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors packed inside, while being powered by a Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery. It runs under Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Hopefully, it won’t be too long before OPPO officially announces the availability of Find 5 in India, so keep an eye on this space for additional details on the matter.
