This month, several major manufacturers are expected to put out new products, as we already noted in a couple of our previous posts. OCZ's name also popped up among those of the other manufacturers, and now we get to see why that was, as it has recently released a new gaming mouse with a unique and very interesting design. The newcomer is meant to offer computer gamers yet another tool through which they can improve their skills.

With a name that is probably meant to strike fear into the hearts of your opponents, the Dominatrix is essentially a top-of-the-line laser mouse for PC gamers. As with most other high-performance gaming mice, OCZ's product provides multiple dpi settings of 2000/1600/800/400, offering users a fast response for a fluid gameplay. Like Logitech's G9 laser mouse, the Dominatrix also allows users to fine-tune the weight and balance of their mouse up to 40g for ultimate control.

"We continue to rapidly diversify our product range at OCZ in order to offer an end-to-end line of high performance gaming solutions to our customers," said Director of Product Management Ryan Edwards. "The new Dominatrix mouse is no exception, offering world-class performance and specifications guaranteed to provide the discerning gamer and enthusiast with an unparalleled tactile control experience."

The features of the mouse include two programmable buttons with three different modes each, enabling users to customize it for gaming and Internet applications. Furthermore, the included software has been designed to allow gamers to record, read and edit unlimited scripts of complex keyboard and mouse commands, while the built-in memory makes it possible to save the mouse settings onboard.

The mouse is delivered with a 3-year warranty but, for the time being, the company hasn't released any info on pricing and availability. With all that, the Dominatrix should soon become available at various retailers.
