OCZ Showcases Vista Upgrade 4GB Memory Kits

Known for its ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, OCZ Technology Group announced the availability of their Vista Value Upgrade series which includes the highly anticipated 4GB (2x2048MB) dual channel kits, optimized for perfect compatibility for those who want to make the jump from Microsoft Windows XP to Vista.

The new OCZ Vista Upgrade series was specially designed to convert a sluggish system into a superior machine able to deliver improved performance for the
latest Vista experience. Supporting both DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 specifications, the PC2-6400 2GB and PC2-5400 4GB memory kits provide maximum memory bandwidth and deliver the most efficient operation for the latest games and memory intensive video editing software.

All Vista Value Upgrade memory modules feature the proprietary OCZ XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreader for improved heat dissipation. Additionally, each module is 100% hand-tested for quality assurance and compatibility, being backed by OCZ's Lifetime Warranty and technical support for unparalleled peace of mind.

Here are the specifications for the 4GB kit:

- 667MHz DDR2 modules with CL 5-5-5-15
- Unbuffered memory modules
- 1.8 Volts
- 240 pin DIMM
- 1.85V EVP - Extended Voltage Protection that allows PC2-5400 modules to handle voltages up to 1.85V ±5% via overclocking procedures without voiding the life-time warranty.
