During the upcoming Flash Memory Summit, at Booth 208 in the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California, OCZ will exhibit various enterprise solid state drives, and even hold some live technical demonstrations.

Taking center stage will be Z-Drive R4, Talos 2, the Linux Acceleration software (LXL) and the VXL Cache and Virtualization software (for acceleration of SQL Server 2012 databases).

Furthermore, the inbound Intrepid 3 SATA III solid state units, based on the Indilinx Everest 2 controller chips, will be part of the exhibition.

The live demos we mentioned above will be of a VDI boot storm, efficient SQL CPU utilization, and vMotion and Fault Tolerance support, among other things.

Truth be told, we will be more focused on finding whatever inventions us consumers have business buying, rather than these PCI Express cards and other specialized hardware. Whether or not we'll find any is up in the air.
