OCZ released a new USB Flash Drive, the Roadster. It's High Speed USB 2 Certified, True Plug and Play (Compatible with MAC OSX), and it folds into a very small piece of hardware. And when I say very small, I mean it.
Smaller than other convertible drives, courtesy of its "Top Down" design, the Roadster remains ultra portable. Using a very compact profile, they managed to put all the memory components into the connector alone. According to OCZ, "the Roadster's small footprint means you'll never have to unplug surrounding USB ports to make room, a common problem with many over-sized competitor drives. Users can access files stored on the Roadster from the convenience of any USB port thanks to True "Plug and Play" functionality. Instantaneously play music, view images, or open files as if the Roadster was an on-board hard drive."
Only on thing seemed strange to me. At the "specifications" part, it has lifetime warranty. At the "description" part, it has 3 year warranty, "for your peace of mind". What's that? What peace of mind? Here is the exact statement: "OCZ is committed to providing superior products and service to our customers. The OCZ Roadster is designed to be the most portable convertible USB flash memory drive on the market and comes backed with a 3 year warranty for the ultimate peace of mind." In the picture, you can see it clearly, it has lifetime warranty. Or maybe they know the awful faith that awaits you - if you buy this, you'll die in 3 years, which is the only way both statements can be true.
