The following couple of months will mark an actual jump in the IT industry, as six-core chips reach the mainstream, dynamic overclocking gets more widespread and more advanced graphics take the stage. As such, it is only natural for the memory market to advance at the same pace, at least. To illustrate this progress, OCZ Technology group has once again stepped forth, this time not to unleash some new SSD or another, but to make the formal announcement of its latest, high-capacity DDR3 memory kits, respectfully codenamed “Gold Series.”

The Gold Series is made up of two dual-channel kits, one with a capacity of 4GB and one with no less than 8GB memory. They are specifically constructed for intensive design and editing software, as well as any other memory-demanding applications, which means that CAD engineers, graphics designers and other professionals will reap the largest benefit from acquiring these products. Those that do will be able to take advantage of the modules' speed of 1333MHz CAS 9, even while they stay at an operating voltage of 1.65V.

“As new software for productivity and entertainment become available consumers are looking to get the very most out of their PC’s and our new 4GB DDR3 modules will help them do exactly that,” said Ryan Petersen, CEO of the OCZ Technology Group. “Designed for both Intel and AMD platforms, the new 8GB Dual Channel Kits improve application loading times, frame rates and task switching, all of which make them an excellent solution for everyone from graphic designers to gamers.”

Of course, in addition to facilitating the highest levels of multitasking and design applications, OCZ's Gold Series, like all top-tier memory kits, will significantly enhance performance of any enthusiast or gaming system. Unfortunately, as it often happens with a new, promising product, there is no mention of prices, though they should become clear soon, as the devices themselves show up on online retailers.
