Just like Advanced Micro Devices, OCZ is welcoming a new staff member, though one without the same reputation as the former's two newest executives.

The person now joining OCZ's leading body is Wayne B. Eisenberg, a former member of SMART Modular Technologies, where he spent 16 years in one of several functions, most importantly vice president of worldwide sales and marketing communications (9 years).

Between SMART and OCZ, the man worked as vice president of sales for Leyden Energy Inc., a developer of Lithium-ion-based energy storage solutions.

Eisenberg's total experience in the industry is of 20 years. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism from California State University at Chico, plus a minor in Business Administration. Both should help him cope with his post of senior vice president of global sales.
