OCZ Begins Shipping New eXtreme DDR Memory Modules

The OCZ Gold series gets gamers back on track to extreme PC-gaming conditions providing memory performance at an affordable price. Equipped with the ultra-fast Enhanced Latency technology, the Gold
series is built to deliver high speeds with stability and endurance for maximum frame-rates. OCZ Gold is bundled with a lifetime warranty and direct, toll-free technical support to ensure a mission complete for gamers.

OCZ has started shipping 1 GB PC-3200 and PC-4000 Gold GX XTC modules. Both modules use gold layered Xtreme Thermal Convection heatspreaders, which allow increased ventilation and heat dissipation, featuring a honeycomb design.

The latencies of PC-4000 (DDR500) are 3-4-3-8 while the PC-3200 (DDR400) is set at 2-3-3-8.

Gamers may begin writing their Christmas wish lists because OCZ Gold Series comes at a price they or their acquaintances can surely afford. 2 GB dual channel kits modules are initially available.
