OCZ has succeeded again in bringing together the latest technologies in a single package and confirmed that the company is preparing to ship 4GB memory kits (2x2GB) shortly before Microsoft Vista shows up. They believe that you will need at least 2GB of memory for a good gaming experience on
Vista.

Adding their XTC heatspreaders to their 2GB kit with tighter timings doesn't leave much to be desired. The OCZ EL PC4000 XTC memory proved itself to be rock solid with very good performance. Nevertheless, the games will of course work even with 1024 MB memory and we can bet that some people will run Vista with 512 MB, but we are talking about a comfortable experience.

The OCZ EL PC4000 memory kit with XTC memory heatspreaders is a worthwhile upgrade for anyone doing some 2GB memory shopping. Performance, stability and a competitive price all come together here to put this RAM on the short list of any enthusiastic gamer.
