OCZ Technology, one of the world's leading vendors of high-performance memory and Flash-based storage solutions, has announced today the launch of the new, ultra-affordable Zee USB 2.0 flash drive. The new portable storage solution has been specifically designed for mainstream users looking for an alternative to external storage products. The new USB drive is expected to provide them with a variety of storage capacities, allowing them to choose the solution that best fits their requirements.

According to the San Jose, California-based company, the Zee drive is specifically designed to meet the requirements of on-the-go students, gamers or professional users. It features an ultra-sleek design and is lightweight and small so that it fits any pocket.

Although OCZ has been tight-lipped about the performance specifications of the new Zee USB flash drive, it did say that users would be able to choose from the following capacities: 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB. The drive is backed by a 2-year warranty and is expected to become available soon. Unfortunately, we have no details on how affordable this new solution really is, but you'll have to take the company's word for it when it claims it to be “ultra-affordable.”
