Some of the attendants at this year's Computex trade show in Taipei have been able to identify a new product over at OCZ's booth, of whose existence no one had been aware until that moment. The product in question was actually a Johnathan 'Fatal1ty' Wendel-branded memory module, and users will be able to see precisely what it's all about once it becomes available on the market, also thanks to OCZ, one of the leading memory manufacturers as of now. Coming in 2GB and 4GB kits, these memories are based on the
current widespread DDR2 standard.

Although the company hasn't released any official information about the upcoming memory kits, German users can already go ahead and purchase them from the K&M Elektronik AG site. According to the German-based vendor, a 2GB version of the OCZ Fatal1ty Edition memory can be yours for a good 59.9. The above-mentioned website also gives out information about technical specification of the memories.

The 2GB kits are built with a maximum 1066MHz memory speed and provide a 5-5-5-15 latency level. The modules come unbuffered and are cooled down by a Fatal1ty XTC heatspreader that is meant to increase their performance level, when used at high capacity. With the 4GB modules, users will benefit from a lower memory speed (800MHz) and with 5-4-4-18 latencies. Interested parties can purchase the latter kits for no less than 89.90.

With all the Fatal1ty-branded products that can now be acquired from various hardware manufacturers, one can only wonder how long it will be until a top-to-bottom Fatal1ty computer system surfaces. Come to think of it, it could be both a desktop and a portable system. One thing that's certain is that it must be ready to provide gaming users with the necessary gear for the most hardcore gaming possible. But back to the present day, we can conclude by saying that, although other Fatal1ty branded memory kits will most likely surface in the near future, it is nice to see that these ones are already available in stores.
