Yesterday, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia officially announced the availability of its Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone on the market in the UK starting with September 25.

The company also unveiled partnerships with wireless carriers in the country for the release of this device, including an exclusive availability of the 64GB flavor of Lumia 1020 at O2 UK.

Those who would like to grab the larger capacity version of the new mobile phone should head over to this page on O2’s website for that.

They should also know that the carrier is throwing in a series of accessories with all pre-orders, so as to make the deal even sweeter.

“Meanwhile, pre-order a Nokia Lumia 1020 64GB exclusively from us and you'll get £150 [$237 / €178] of accessories free,” O2 announced on Twitter.

“Pre-order your Nokia 1020 before 25 September and get a wireless charging plate and cover, camera grip and a tri-pod,” the carrier explains on its website.

Depending on the plan they want to opt in for, O2 customers can grab the new mobile phone for free, or could end up paying as much as £639.99 ($1,010 / €761) for it, on the O2 Refresh monthly deals.

As mentioned above, the smartphone is set to become available for purchase in the UK on September 25, and O2 says that all those who pre-order it by 4pm on Monday, September 23, will receive it on the launch day.

Nokia Lumia 1020 arrives on the market with a 4.5-inch touchscreen display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, and 2GB of RAM.

The mobile phone also sports the aforementioned 64GB of internal memory, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LTE connectivity, along with built-in GPS receiver.

The main selling point of this Windows Phone 8 device, however, is its 41-megapixel PureView camera with OIS, which is complemented by a front camera for making video calls.
