With O.J. Simpson now trying to convince a judge that he should be released from prison despite the initial sentence of 33 years for kidnapping and robbery, his ex-girlfriend Christie Prody is probably dreading the moment.

The two dated for 12 years and broke up in 2008, right before he was convicted in the sports memorabilia heist gone wrong.

Speaking with Inside Edition, Prody paints Simpson as a very cruel man, one who would not shy away from using her youth and innocence to serve his own purpose.

He was also obsessed with his late wife Nicole Brown. He had just been acquitted of her murder, and he took every step towards turning Christie into Nicole, Christie alleges.

“It was very hard to deal with that every day. Comparing me to Nicole. Nicole did this. Nicole did that. You should do this. I think he did snap. I think he was obsessed with Nicole, like the 12 years I was with him, he was still obsessed with her, talking about her,” Christie says for Inside Edition.

She also explains that O.J. got her to dye her hair blonde. She is now back to her brunette natural color.

“He would constantly try to fix my hair, like if we were going out and part it over to a certain side and comb it down and he would make comments like, ‘This is how Nicole wore her hair.’ I mean I got so sick of it,” Prody says.

“I was young and he tried to shape me, mold me, into what he wanted,” she adds.

Whenever she tried to contradict him or let him know that she didn’t want to do what he asked her to, O.J. would scare her by telling her that she’d get what Nicole also got.

“He would say things to me like, ‘You'd better watch out so something bad doesn't happen to you like Nicole’,” Christie explains.

The other day, friends of Simpson’s from behind bars were telling the press that he’d gained weight in prison because of improper nutrition and that he was planning on doing a college speaking tour once out.
