Nvidia has yesterday revealed some juicy details regarding the upcoming Electronic Sports World Cup, which will start in just six days. Nvidia is the main sponsor of this great event that will be hosted by Palais Omnisports in Paris Bercy.

The visitors, the ones who will have time to wonder around, should go and take a look at Nvidia's stand, where they will find all the high-tech goodies they dreamed of. Look out for extreme high definition NVIDIA Quad SLI systems running the new Microsoft Flight Simulator title at mind-blowing resolutions,
NVIDIA SLI for notebooks, Microsoft Windows Vista gaming demos and systems built around the NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI motherboard and Intel Core Duo 2 processor. And, from what the representatives are saying, the handheld gaming gets serious with NVIDIA GoForce 5500 running 'Quake III', 'Need for Speed Most Wanted', 'Avatar', 'Jump' and 'Siege'.

But the visitors are also invited to all Nvidia themed parties such as the one dedicated to LAN capability. Moreover, there will be a contest going on, where the competitors will have the opportunity to win a bleeding-edge desktop PC signed NVIDIA and Intel. To be more specific… we are talking about a Quad SLI system.

All the Nvidia-based systems will be available for gaming sessions, featuring the well-known 'Tomb Raider: Legend', 'Titan Quest' and 'Trackmania Nations ESWC'.

Nvidia representatives announced that the manufacturer's booth is open to VIPs, journalists and competitors on June 28 from 9am to 9pm, and open to the public June 29 - July 2 from 8am to 9pm.

And now, some juicy details regarding this year's ESWC competition… There will be no less than 800 champions coming from 50 countries, 35,000 spectators, seven tournaments - Counterstrike, Counterstrike Women, Quake IV, Trackmania Nations ESWC, Warcraft III, Gran Turismo 4, Pro Evolution Soccer 5 - in three days of 'cruel competition' - June 30 - July 2 2006 and $400,000 prize fund. Satisfied? Then, I think I'll meet you there.
