Nvidia told its partners that it is willing to loan them 7900 GTX SLI systems for the CeBIT show. G71 cards are close to becoming reality and we are all more than anxious to see them in action.

The people responsible for the manufacturing of those cards only mentioned the presentation of the G71 based cards but so far no one could say if they will be available for retail at that time. There is also a possibility that Nvidia may show its cards at CeBIT, but not launch them; anyways, for now, any further details are kept inside the corporation.

Nvidia's Nforce 4 by 16 is now faced to the RD580 model, recognized as a great overclocker, and also the X1900 based cards are pretty fast, faster than 7800 GTX 512 parts. G71, Geforce 7900 SLI has to improve its 7800 GTX 512 brother for it to be able to stand up to ATI's dual card solution.

Assuming Nvidia does have 32 pipelines in its G71 chip we can talk about a hell of a model however, Nvidia still has 24 pipes only. CeBIT will be the latest time when we will find out this detail, but we hope to get some answers before that date. I am anxiously waiting for the moment when I will be able to write: "Nvidia's Geforce 7900 GTX made X1900 look like a clown ", but this will be possible only if Nvidia manages to make its technology faster, its well known ?marchitecture".

Nevertheless, the cards will be shown by the end of this month or at CeBIT. Nvidia will invite its loyal press members to Santa Clara, to introduce the new part. There will also be G70 90 nanometer parts, Geforce 7800 GT, which beneficiate of a lower clock and also lower prices. Nvidia also plans its attack against X1600 generation through its new 7600 GT, GS cards, all of these scheduled for the CeBit launch.
