The update is available starting today and will give Shield owners the chance to experience some of its newest improvements. Therefore, players will find that this update gives the players the possibility to move both APKs and OVV to an SD card if the applications opts in.

Moreover, one will be able to see that the home button has been tweaked around, holding it will launch Google Now, and double tapping will bring the multitasking interface.

What might be the most important update of all is that the PC streaming feature is out of Beta and is coming with this 4.3 update.

Of course, a new name is in order and as such, now you have GameStream. This includes support for a number of titles and it came with an upgraded version of the Geforce Experience (1.7.0.0) and release 331.65 GeForce drivers.

In addition to everything, there is a console mode available that will transform Shield into a living room game console.

Furthermore, users will discover another new feature entitled gamepad mapper, meaning it maps and emulates on screen touches from the controller. This will allow games that don't normally work with Android gamepad input APIS to be controlled by Shield.

Other than this, things are mostly left the same, players can still play PC games on Shield, with games being rendered at 720p on a compatible system.

You'll be happy to hear that the NVIDIA is giving $100 / € 72 off of Shield and other three games if players buy a GeForce GTX 770, 780, or Titan. If you purchase a GTX 660, 660 Ti, 670, 680, or 760, you'll get 50% off shield and two games.
