A Swedish online retailer has just posted an early listing of an Asus-built GTX 590 graphics card that seems to confirm the March 22 release date as well as suggest the retail price of Nvidia's upcoming dual-GPU solution. The card is called the Asus ENGTX590/3DIS/3GD5 and has been listed on the Dustin Home website.

Although Asus' GTX 590 solution was removed by now from the store and Dustin Home's official response discredits any information they may have offered about the product, the Sweclockers website was quick enough to capture a screenshot of the listing.

Unfortunately, the Internet shop didn't reveal any details regarding the specification of the GTX 590, but, judging by its product number, the card will feature 3GB of GDDR5 memory, just as early leaks seem to suggest.

Pricing has been established at 7395 SEK which, after excluding VAT, translates into about $930 US.

This would make the GTX 590 a great deal more expensive than AMD's current dual-GPU flagship, the $699 Radeon HD 6990, but, as always, these kinds of prices should be taken with a huge grain of salt as most retailers have the tendency to overprice unreleased hardware parts.

From what we know until now, the GTX 590 will be built using hand-picked GF110 GPUs and the card could pack as much as 1024 stream processors, 128 texturing units, 96 ROPs as well as dual 384-bit memory interfaces.

Going with a dual-GPU setup has enabled Nvidia to offer 3D Surround support in the GTX 590 so the card will feature a redesigned rear bracket that packs three dual-link DVI ports as well as a mini-DP output.

Other details such as operating frequencies and TDP are still unknown at this time, but the card is expected to become official on March 22 and some reports suggest that only Asus and EVGA will sell GTX 590-based solutions in the US.
