A user on a Chinese Web forum has just posted online a picture of what seems to be a GK110 GPU, the graphics core that Nvidia will use for the upcoming GeForce GTX 680 video card.

Included above this post, the picture was deliberately modified to remove its markings, but we can still make out the fact that this is actually an A2 revision GPU.

Outside of this fact, little else is known about the GK110 GPU, but as all Kepler parts it will be fabricated using TSMC’s 28nm process.

This should both decrease the power consumption of the Nvidia core and also make it run cooler.

The biggest mystery surrounding Kepler right now is when will Nvidia actually release these GPUs, but we’ll keep our eyes and ears open to see if we can find out more.
