It appears that Nvidia, one of the leaders in graphics processors manufacturing, quietly changed its logo, but there is no word of a comprehensive change, mainly regarding 'the company's insides'.
"The new logotype emphasizes Nvidia's recommendations to write its name in capital letters, whereas the old logotype had the first letter in italic. Also, the new one has a little bit more modern look and should also point out the strength of the company, as the font used on it is much "stronger" than the one on the old logo," reports X-bit Labs.
Not only has the logo changed, but also the corporate trademarks layout. Unfortunately, no official confirmation has been made up until now and no showcase of the new logo.
Only yesterday, the company has released, under the old trademark, its new additions to the well-known nForce Professional core-logic solutions - the nForce Professional 3000 series that is said to help develop and design cutting-edge blade servers, computing farms, computer-aided design (CAD), digital content creation (DCC), and advanced visualization platforms.
"Our NVIDIA nForce Professional MCPs are the preferred server and workstation platform solution as evidenced by the adoption by the world's leading OEMs," said Manoj Gujral, general manager of the professional MCP business at NVIDIA. "We are seeing increased demand for our new NVIDIA nForce Professional products in the enterprise, and we look forward to making additional announcements with our server and workstation partners over the next few months."
The series is developed especially for AMD Opteron-based servers and workstations, including next-generation Opteron processors with support for DDR2 memory, as it 'appears' like a scalable platform solution.
The series includes: the nForce Professional 3600 MCP which is engineered for the enterprise with advanced reliability, availability, and serviceability features, the nForce Professional 3050 MCP, nForce Professional 3400 MCP and nForce Professional 3600.
