14 DAY TRIAL // Nvidia has just announced the immediate availability for download of the 331.17 Beta version of its graphics driver for Linux operating systems.
The new Linux display driver, 331.17, is actually an update for the Beta branch, which means that a new stable is already on its way.
Highlights of Nvidia 331.17 Beta Driver:
• A bug that prevented the configuration files containing application profiles from being loaded when directories were present in the application profile configuration search path has been fixed; • Deferred initialization of libselinux in the NVIDIA OpenGL driver has been implemented; • nvidia-uvm.ko, the NVIDIA Unified Memory kernel module, has been added to the NVIDIA Linux driver package.
