James Bond is slick, handsome, skilled, deadly. As it happens, James Bond is also a genuine women magnet, having barely to open his mouth to get the ladies swooning at his feet.

This is the number 1 reason why he is – and will always remain cooler than the average Joe.

The James Bond in the original novels and the long-standing film franchise is more than just a character in the common sense of the word, because he refuses to play even by the rules that make the world tick in books and films as well.

Romantically speaking, his only rule is that he must exist in order for attraction to take place, as his many, mostly ridiculous pickup lines show.

“[Your mouth is not too big.] It’s just the right size... for me, that is” and “There’s something I’d like you to get off your chest” and “Then how about a nightcap on the company? My company” are just some of the things Bond says to the women he later beds.

Do that in real life and you’ll get slapped, at best.

BBC has a very interesting comparison between James Bond’s love life and that of an average man, while more hilarious pickup lines used in movies are available here. Have fun with them!
