Nuclear Throne, an action roguelike game developed and published by Vlambeer, will be released on Steam for Linux.

This might look like a hectic game, but gaming will have to use tactics and be very smart when playing and take advantage of the level design.

“Nuclear Throne is Vlambeers latest action roguelike-like about mutants fighting their way through a post-apocalyptic world. The radioactive waste in the world allows mutants to get ahead by mutating new limbs on the fly, the abundant availability of powerful weaponry make the quest to become ruler of the Wasteland one fraught with peril,” reads the official announcement.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch.

Nuclear Throne is still in the Early Access Game program, which means that it is still under development. Players can still buy it, but there might be some bugs along the way.

More details about Nuclear Throne can be found on the official Steam website.
