A&E Television Networks has announced that, starting now, iPhone and iPad customers who use the company’s free apps can stream LIVE TV to their iDevices by simply signing in with their TV provider.

An American media company that owns a group of television channels available via cable & satellite in the US and abroad, A&E Television Networks (A&E stands for Arts & Entertainment) has released a very exciting update for its base A&E app, as well as for its HISTORY channel app.

“Now you can watch LIVE TV on your iPhone or iPad! Sign in with your TV provider and watch a live stream of A&E…anywhere, anytime,” reads the announcement. The same goes for the HISTORY app, as mentioned above.

The network is anxious to receive feedback from its customer base in order to tweak anything that might have been left out in the process of rolling out this update, as well as to add potential new features on its checklist for the next update.

The A&E app lets you access full episodes and clips from the entire A&E lineup, including Duck Dynasty, Bates Motel, Storage Wars, The First 48, etc. HISTORY delivers Vikings, Pawn Stars, Swamp People, and more.
