Now That's Some Serious Cleavage!

Scarlett Johansson hates the gossip industry but doesn't think there's anything wrong with showing off her boobs

If we were to really take some of the actors out there seriously, we'd have to believe that life as a movie star is one of the most horrible things in the world. And no, this time I'm not talking about Jessica Alba and her relentless bitching, although I'm sure that there must be some interview featuring her out there that I overlooked and in which she's keen to let the world know just how miserable she is. Oh, and no, it's not Keira Knightley either - I must hand it to her, the British actress has been keeping her mouth shut tight for a while, which is very good news to this world. No, this time it's one of the hottest actresses out there - yes, I'm talking about Scarlett Johansson, who has been out and about in Berlin promoting her upcoming movie, "The Other Boleyn Girl", in which she stars alongside Natalie Portman and Eric Bana.

Apparently, Scarlett really hates the entertainment industry and the gossip magazines in particular, and was quite keen to let her opinions be heard at a press conference that took place after the premiere of "The Other Boleyn Girl" at the

Berlin Film Festival. And what do you know? It would seem that playing the part of a conniving seductress in a relatively trashy (that is, extremely sensationalist) re-interpretation of life at the court of Henry VIII has allowed Scarlett to express her own distaste for the gossip magazines of this day and age. "That's very scary to me and invasive and gross. But that kind of intrigue and frenzy, I guess, could be related to the court in some way - and the rumors and the gossip and this frenetic, frantic energy that goes into the celebrity culture" she said. Now who in the world knew Scarlett was such a clever, clever girl?

"But would I ever leave because I couldn't take it? I would hope that I would never allow that to affect my professional life. I try not to live in the court, so to speak, and try to separate my private life from this circus" she added. Well, I think that what she stated essentially translates to the same "I'm a celebrity but I hate my celebrity life" lines we've heard before from a lot of our favorite stars out there. And while I find Scarlett's criticism cute, I also find it extremely hypocritical. You can't enjoy all the privileges and advantages of being seen as a movie star and still complain about all the attention you get. It's all part of the package, and since you started playing the game, you might as well play it well. Oh, and keep your mouth shut and pose and smile for the cameras. Now there's a thought!
