It’s no surprise that Microsoft’s partners support Redmond’s efforts to move users to a newer Windows versions and dump XP, so this new clip from Dell is nothing unusual.

Intuitively called “Now Is the Time to Leave Windows XP Behind,” the new video is actually supposed to show everyone that switching to a newer platform is a very smart decision, as an unpatched system is like an open invitation to hackers on the Internet.

“Do more than migrate. Accelerate! Dell experts can help customers jump start a new migration or fast forward one already in progress. Dell's modularized services are designed to accelerate a customer's path off XP through proven practices and expert guidance,” Dell says in the video description.

Microsoft will officially stop providing support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014, so users have less than six months to deploy Windows 7 or Windows 8.
