Now's Your Chance! Google Pays a Lot of Money for New Talents!

- SketchUp trainers invited to the company

By: Bogdan Popa, Security and Search Engines Editor

The Mountain View company announced the availability of a new job opening as the search giant wants to hire several full-time SketchUp trainers to teach new users interested in the 3D modeling tool. The new jobs are available for multiple US locations including Ann Arbor, MI; Boston, MA; Boulder, CO; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Seattle, WA;
and Washington, D.C. Among the responsibilities, we can mention: traveling to training locations as well as learning and employing SketchUp training content and methods.

As it is mentioned in the announcement, it is only a temporary job, because Google is looking for one-year trainers to work with SketchUp students.

"Want to try your hand at being a SketchUp trainer for a year? We have several full-time (but temporary) trainer positions open in the U.S. While working with Google under a year-long contract, you'll see the country, train folks on SketchUp, and get paid for doing it. Ideal candidates are folks who love to show off their SketchUp skills publicly and love helping others," James Therrien, Training and Education Manager, said today.

As you can see, a job at Google is not only an opportunity to make a career but also your chance to become famous, visit the country and meet new people. Although life at the Googleplex is often described as a real paradise, the Mountain View company recorded three important loses last week as two Google Maps engineers and Vanessa Fox left the firm for another business.

However, the recent The Best Company in the World to Work For award received by Google disagrees with the departures of the employees and proves us that the search giant is a nice place to make yourself famous. Also, it is a well-know fact that Google encourages employees to develop their own ideas, as 20 percent of the work time can be used for individual projects.
