A new flavor of the Nova launcher is now available for download for devices running under Google’s Android operating system, with features and enhancements meant to provide users with a far better experience than before.

For starters, we should note that the new application release comes with a series of changes related to the recently made available Android 4.1.2 operating system.

At the same time, the new application release comes with a series of fixes for transparency on Samsung devices running under the Jelly Bean platform, and also resolves an issue with the blank desktop when leaving drawer.

The icon pack crash on some HTC devices has been patched as well, along with the issue that prevented the drawer from correctly remembering position.

Following the new update, TeslaUnread 2.0 (available with Nova Launcher Prime) comes with unread counts for Email, Reader, GVoice and more.

A series of other bug fixes were also included in the new software update, yet the most important enhancements are those related to Android 4.1.2.

One thing that should be noted is that the launcher already had support for setting the homescreen to auto-rotate, and that the setting remains available in the new release as well, in Nova Settings > Look & Feel > Screen Orientation > Auto-rotate.

The paid flavor of the software, called Nova Launcher Prime, has been updated as well, with fixes to a series of licensing issues and with updated Icon and Text. A button to Nova Settings has been added as well, the application’s release notes unveil.

Those who would like to try out the new iteration of the mobile application (version 1.3.2) will find it available for download from Softpedia via this link.

The Nova Launcher Prime (1.1) can be found on our website as well, on this page.

Both applications are compatible with Android 4.0 and newer platform releases.
