Christopher George Latore Wallace (May 21, 1972 - March 9, 1997), also known as Biggie Smalls, but best known as The Notorious B.I.G. (Business Instead of Game and, since his death, Books Instead of Guns), was a popular rapper of the mid-1990s.
His career was overshadowed by the Bad Boy/Death Row Records feud during his life, but following his untimely death in 1997.
A mistrial took place for Notorious's unsolved murder, a murder that has been attributed to rap records labels from East and West Coast. To be mentioned, it is rumored the same records labels claimed the life of Tupac Shakur as well.
The LA Reuters: "The Los Angeles City Council on Wednesday approved a $1.1 million payment to the family of slain rapper Notorious B.I.G because of errors in a civil wrongful death trial over accusations that he was murdered by rogue police officers."
The justice made to his family is worth $1.1 million, which should cover the legal costs spent by the family before the mistrial. Wallace's family states that they "will go ahead with its wrongful death lawsuit and we intend to set a new trial date next month."
The Notorious BIG of 192 cm and 136 KG is widely regarded as being one of the greatest rappers of all times.
