On Thursday, Notion Ink announced officially the availability of their Adam Android-based tablet PC for pre-order. While the initial availability of the device was limited only to the members of their blog community, now anyone can place a pre-order for the device.

A few hours ago, the Indian company made the pre-order page accessible to all people interested in their device, with specific info on pricing, shipping, fees, return policies and the rest.

Also, the company confirmed once again the price tag at which its tablet PC was made available. There are six different Adam versions out there, priced as follows:

LCD Wi-Fi-only version: $375.33 LCD + 3G -900 series and LCD + 3G -850 series: $425.33 Transflective version (Pixel Qi) WiFi version: $499.45 Transflective + 3G -900 series, Transflective + 3G -850 series: $549.99

However, it appears that the Transflective versions (Pixel Qi) of the Android-based device were already sold out, and that it might not be too long before the LCD version shares the same fate as well.

All of the necessary info on the matter would be available on the pre-order page Notion Ink put in place on its website.

What should be noted here is that there are some inconsistencies regarding warranty policy, shipping fees, or the Return and Refund Policy, and those who would like to purchase the device should read all of the terms carefully.

According to Notion Ink's Rohan Shravan, any error than might have slipped there should be corrected soon: “I believe our team did an error by mentioning the policies in few readable lines. You will see the complete document reflected on the website in couple of hours from now.”

His latest post on the company's blog was meant to offer some clarification on what ordering, receiving and returning an Adam tablet PC would be all about.

According to him, in case there are some who doubt the very existence of Notion Ink Adam, they should be able to get a taste of the slate at CES in January, as the company intends to demonstrate the device at the conference.
