Notion Ink, the company behind the highly appealing Adam tablet PC, announced a while ago that it would make its device available for pre-order sometime in December, and some of the latest reports around the web suggest that December 9th might be the actual release date for the slate.

While the company did not unveil a specific launch day for the Android-based tablet PC, it appears that the recently launched website for the device is the place to look at when looking for this answer.

In the right upper corner of the website's home page, one can see a number, which, apparently, is a binary code that points at December 9th.

Initially, the number listed on Notion Ink's website was 10001 (that's tow days ago), then it was changed to 10000 (yesterday), while today it is 1111, though the guys over at Android Police say that the actual number would actually be 01111.

For those who are not familiar with the binary code, the initial number listed there was said to have been 17, followed by 16 yesterday, and 15 today.

Since the number changes each day, it supposedly counts down to December 9th, most probably the day when the new tablet PC would be made available for pre-order for all of those who are interested in purchasing it.

As stated above, the company did unveil before that it would plan on making the Adam slate available for pre-order sometime in December, and it appears that things are lining up pretty well with that announcement.

Of course, it still remains to be seen whether the tablet PC would indeed be ready for the launch at that time, but, based on the impressive progress the company made with its development lately, there are great chances that all will be put in place at that time.
