When it was said that making Notion Ink Adam pre-orders may not be the best idea, some may have been skeptical, but whatever doubts existed may have been put to rest now that pre-order deliveries have actually been pushed back.

For those that may not yet know, the Adam tablet from Notion Ink is one of the few Tegra 2-based slates that were supposed to be shipping already.

The Advent Vega is the most significant other Tegra 2 tablet available and it saw some shipment issues of its own, though they were mostly owed to being too much of a best-seller to stay in stock for long.

Now that sales are well underway again, one would expect Notion Ink to make haste in sending out its Adam.

Unfortunately, the concerns regarding Notion Ink Adam pre-orders seem to have proven valid if a more recent report is to be believed.

Last week, it was implied that pre-ordering Notion Ink's Adam might not be very wise, and it appears that said troubles are still very much there.

Now, Out of the Office says that the estimated time of delivery for the Pixel Qi version of the tablet it ordered was pushed back from January 6 to January 15-22.

Apparently, the initially set date was inaccurate because of some unfortunate calculation errors.

“Prior to December 15th, there was an error in this page due to which the shipping date was being calculated incorrectly. We apologize for the inconvenience,” Notion Ink is reported to have informed Out of the office.

“The date shown here is the correct value, which reflects the date shown at the time you ordered,” the company supposedly said.

“This is our best estimate of the shipping date. The actual date may vary; we will keep you informed in case that happens.”
