Notion Ink are getting closer and closer to bringing to the market their first tablet PC to run under Google's Android operating system, the highly acclaimed Notion Ink Adam, and the company has just released some videos to give us a taste of what's coming to shelves in the not too far future.

Two videos have been embedded at the bottom of this article, the first of them showing the boot screen for the Android slate, while the second one being a small teaser video for the product.

At the same time, the company confirmed that it is on the right track with the development of the slate, and that it should not be too long before all is up and running.

Here's what they note in a recent blog post:

- Genesis is up and Running! - GPS Navigation Software entered beta and it speaks 43 languages! - Email client (Mail’d) (we will talk more about it in a while) enters beta - Paint + Photo Editor enters beta (along with 5 more softwares

Among the things that still need to be put in place, we can count the logo, which is said to be similar with another logo out there, which means that it might take a while before the company comes up with another logo, or it gets the approval to use the logo in its current form.

At the same time, they still have to put in place the notionink.in site, which should receive a new design in the not too far future.

In the meantime, we should note that the Mail’d client on Adam will offer a wide range of email features that users should already be familiar with, such as offline mode, or unsend an email. More capabilities will be added to the solution in January.

Another interesting app on the slate would be Sniffer, an “extremely fast and handy File Browser,” which is already looking pretty good, even if not in its final version.

Of course, other things are still not ready, and it remains to be seen whether the company would indeed be capable to make the slate available for purchase as promised.
