Notion Ink is one of those companies that can never seem to complete their new inventions in a timely manner. Either that, or it deliberately staggers its product releases more than everyone else.
True, we did stumble upon the specifications of the Adam II tablet back in May, and the name (Adam II) makes it clear that this is just a revision of another device.
But that's just the thing: it is a revision, yet still hasn't made it out, despite having been initially revealed all the way back in November 2012.
Fortunately, we can at least be sure the Adam II is getting close. We doubt a whole image gallery would have made its way to the Internet otherwise.
Sure, it seems to have disappeared since it appeared on Behance, but Google Cache has come to the rescue.
According to the images, the 10.1-inch tablet has a dock, a power cable and an adapter included in the packaging. Just as importantly, there is a stylus too, one with a stucco rubber grip.
The covers stand out a bit too, with their magnetic locking strap, the dual tone leather cover, the smooth finish (it doesn't look like plastic, even though that's what it is).
Three colors will be available: Cerulean Blue & Smokey Grey, Coal Black & Burnt Umber, and Coal Black & Smokey Grey.
For those who want a reminder, the specs of the Notion Ink Adam II tablet are as follows: a 10.1-inch IPS LCD (1280 x 800 pixels resolution), a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU, 1 GB of DDR3 RAM, some NAND Flash (unclear how much), and the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The slate will be usable as is, or in different positions based on how the dock is arranged, since it can act as a dock (it forms a tri-shape when opened). No clue what the price will be, only that the presumed $220 / €220 is incorrect.
