Notion Ink, the company that promised not too long ago the launch of a new tablet PC that would run under Google's Android operating system, has just put up a special website to present their creation. On that website, one can find all the necessary info available on the slate's design, as well as on its software, and on the hardware specifications it would boast inside.

The same as the tablet PC itself, the website seems to be pretty appealing, with sections for design, software, genesis and technical specifications for the slate.

For example, the only thing that was put on the Software section was the video that can be seen embedded at the bottom of this article.

When accessing the Design Tab, one would find info on “The Philosophy”, “The Curve”, “The Material” and “The Camera”, each presented in a specific manner.

Here's what the company notes on The Philosophy: It is only the second time since beginning, that math and instinct have come together to create, Adam.

There are three schools of design. The organic – which mimics shapes from nature. The Retro – which tries to modernize familiar ideas of the past.

And then there’s us – “The Geometric”. We firmly believe that everything should flow in perfect arithmetic harmony, where all the lines and curves follow the laws of the Golden Rule.

Moreover, the company notes that the unique curve that defines the Adam puts together form and function.

There is always one standout factor that defines the personality of that product and for the Adam it is the cylindrical curvature that sets it apart. It provides an easy and ergonomic way to hold it, distributing the weight evenly, both in landscape or portrait modes.

The company also notes that this is a natural viewing angle, sporting 3 Degrees of elevation. The cylinder was designed to offer a great storage space for easily replaceable batteries, while also being a great stereo speaker location, along with the shaft for the swivel camera.

The Material on Notion Ink Adam is both strong and rough, so that one would feel that the slate is “alive.”

The skeleton of Adam is made of aircraft-worthy magnesium and aluminium alloys making it light yet strong. The glass will soften the sharp and intensive lights for you and the textured surface on plastics adds life. You will not see perfection, because it is the first in its species, but you will see the potential, to become the ruling one.

Finally the camera, which had to be swivel in its design, and which was placed on the device ion asuch a manner than one would be able to easily use it for video chats, photos, live notes or even for augmented reality applications.

The Notion Ink Adam should land on the market as a very appealing Android-based tablet PC in the near future. According to the company, we should expect it to be put on pre-order as soon as next month, though we're not sure when it would actually become available for purchase.

Additional info on the Android-based tablet PC can be found on the said website the company put in place for the device.
