Notepad++ received a minor update over the weekend, bringing the most current release to build 6.3.1. The fresh revision brings to the table mostly repairs, but there are a few new things on the list of changes as well.

The developer included the “Set updater proxy” command that allows users to define the proxy details for the updating mechanism. On the same note, this revision comes with a new API NPPM_GETCURRENTVIEW.

One of the repairs available in Notepad++ 6.3.1 addresses a crash that occurred upon uncommenting. The developer managed to fix the issue with window position not being saved or restored correctly and included the ability to remember the folding states for each file in session.
