The controversial hacker has an interesting view on the whole PRISM scandal

While many people are busy signing petitions and organizing protests in support of the now famous whistleblower Edward Snowned, not everyone agrees with his actions. Among them is the controversial hacker The Jester (th3j35t3r), known among other things for his operations against extremist Muslim organizations.

The Jester agrees with the US government, which has charged the whistleblower with espionage.

“As a contractor with a clearance level, Snowden signed an NDA and contract, both of which he breached, also theft of gov property,” he wrote on twitter.

“There’s a process for ‘whistleblowing.’` It's designed to protect the blower. It doesn't involve running to our enemies with USB sticks,” the hacker said.

In The Jester’s opinion, Bradley Manning is also one of the whistleblowers who didn’t “go down the proper whistleblower route.”

“He was groomed by Assange, as is now happening to Snowden,” he noted.

As far as the NSA’s PRISM is concerned, The Jester says that all those who oppose it and support Snowden are misinformed.

“These maniacs claiming Snowden is a hero are the same misinformed goons who fell in love with Djokhar Tsarnaev - world's gone cray cray,” he said.

“Those worrying gov is ‘snooping’ on them think they're more interesting than they are,” he added.

“It's possible to protect UR OWN privacy you know? 2nd [Amendment] allows us to carry guns, be responsible for our personal safety. Correct use of encryption allows us to be responsible for our privacy,” the hacker wrote on Twitter.

“You want privacy? Be responsible for it yourself. It's entirely possible and if it's that important why would u entrust anyone else with it?”

The Jester has been monitoring the online activities of Snowden – who has apparently used the online moniker “TheTrueHooah.” The hacker has even developed a timeline of the former NSA contractor’s online activities starting with January 2000 and until the day he came forward with his findings.

However, The Jester has told Softpedia that he isn’t really trying to help the government in tracking down Snowden, because they “don’t need his help.”

Finally, the hacker has clarified: “I don't sway towards pro-gov, I sway toward OUR Mil, LEA, & Intel communities who do the same job no matter who's in the big seat.”
