Security company Symantec proudly announced that it would expand the agreement with EarthLink, one of the major Internet Service Providers in North America, to deliver its Norton 360 security solution to its clients. The service would be available for a $6.95 monthly subscription rate, Symantec mentioned in a public statement published on its official page. Norton 360 represents the latest all-in-one security technology provided by the famous company, including several functions such as computer security, identity protection, backup and restore, PC tuneup and other useful features.

"Symantec is proud to extend our partnership with EarthLink to Norton 360", said Erin Hintz, vice president of marketing, Symantec. "Norton 360 helps restore computer users' trust in the online world. It combines Symantec's proven, industry-leading technologies for antivirus, antispyware, firewall, intrusion protection, antiphishing, backup and tuneup, eliminating the need to purchase and manage multiple products."

Symantec's security technologies are currently downloaded and installed on millions of computers from all over the world, because they offer efficient tools and features able to defend users' data. For example, Norton AntiVirus 2008 has no less than 1,291,721 downloads on Softpedia, a number of hits which underlines the popularity of the Symantec technology.

"EarthLink's mission is to ensure our customers get the most out of their Internet experiences, and delivering on this promise includes providing the most powerful security products available", said Craig Forman, president of access and audience at EarthLink. "With the addition of Norton 360, our customers are protected against a wide range of security categories with a single product; enabling them to enjoy their time spent online with the peace of mind that their computers and identities are safe and sound."
