Hackers apparently affiliated with the Anonymous movement have breached the website, the Twitter account and the Flickr account of Uriminzokkiri (translated as “Our Nation”), a China-based North Korea news website. In addition, several Uriminzokkiri-related websites have also been taken down.

On the compromised Twitter feed, the attackers have listed the sites they have targeted. The list includes uriminzokkiri.com, ryomyong.com, ryugyongclip.com and aindf.com.

On the hijacked Flickr account, the hacktivists have added a number of four pictures. Three of them display Anonymous symbols, while the fourth one shows a Kim Jong-Un caricature on a wanted poster.

Currently, all the websites are offline. The Twitter and Flickr accounts still appear to be controlled by the hackers.

The breach comes shortly after hackers have claimed to have obtained the details of 15,000 of the website’s users.
