Take a look at the 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP4 SoC inside

After last week Amazon's Kindle Fire revealed all its secrets thanks to a teardown published online, it's now time for the Nook Tablet to get the same treatment.

Just like the Amazon 7-incher, B&N's creation was also torn to pieces by iFixit, which has provided us with a series of high resolution photos attached in the gallery bellow this post.

Judging by these pictures there's not all that much to see inside this $249 (185 EUR) device, the most interesting piece of hardware being actually the battery that must probably be the same as the one used in the Nook Color going by the model name engraved on it.

Taking a look at the PCB we also get to see the 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP4 SoC seconded by 1GB of memory and 16GB of Flash storage made by SanDisk, but that's just about all.

Instructions for putting the whole thing back together were not provided.
