It would sure be a shame to see the Nook disappear

It seems that despite Barnes & Noble cutting its price, the Nook doesn't seem to get any love at all, with revenues dropping by 20% in Q1 2014.

However, while the Nook tablet slash reader lineup might not be getting the love it expected from its customers, Barnes & Noble are keen on bringing new products to the public.

According to TechCrunch, Michael P. Huseby, Nook Media CEO, recently said that they would be launching at least one new product during the holiday season with others being prepped for launch after the said season had passed.

As far as nook hardware goes, it has seen a drop of over 23.1 percent whereas digital content sales dropped by 15.8 percent. Truth be told, with such a huge lineup of devices such as tablets and e-readers, it is hard for one to establish its foothold.

Even with a catchy name such as “The Nook.”
