Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has been long rumored to plan the launch of a large smartphone, one that would sport a 6-inch touchscreen, and some more info on the device is now available.

According to the latest reports on the matter, the handset, previously known under the codename of Bandit, should hit shelves as Lumia 1520.

The info comes from @evleaks, who proved quite reliable in the past when it came to leaked info about smartphone, and has a good chance to pan out.

For the time being, however, nothing has been officially confirmed on this, and it might take a while before Nokia decides to make things official.

According to previous rumors, the handset vendor might be planning a press event for the end of September, and it could announce Lumia 1520 officially at that time.
