Later during this year, Nokia would bring to the market a new set of mobile phones, based on Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system, and what might prove to be the first such device can now be seen in a video presentation embedded below.

The said device, reportedly sporting the codename of Sea Ray, resembles the recently announced Nokia N9 smartphone from the company, their first MeeGo-based mobile phone.

The handset was already spotted into the wild, but this is the first time we can actually see it booting up in Windows Phone 7.

Provided that the video is legit, the Nokia Sea Ray smartphone will arrive on shelves as an impressive device, capable of attracting a lot of users on its side.

However, there is no telling on whether Nokia would actually launch this smartphone as their first Windows Phone handset or not.

What remains to be seen is whether the new phone will sport the same full touch form factor as the aforementioned Nokia N9.

Previously, the device was rumored to be on its way to the market with a FWVGA screen (854x480 pixels), and to use on-screen buttons.

The Back, Start and Search buttons that can be seen at the bottom of the screen would be those, and they are rumored to be soft-enabled.

While no confirmation on the matter emerged so far, there are chances that they might indeed prove so, or that they might turn out to be capacitive buttons.

The video below will also show the various ports that Nokia's upcoming phone should land on the market with, such as charging, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the USB port.

Moreover, we can also see the right side of the phone, with the volume up, volume down, power and dedicated camera buttons on it.

The phone can be seen booting up Windows Phone Mango. Moreover, the camera app is demoed for a few seconds.

As stated above, the Nokia Sea Ray was already spotted into the wild, as Microsoft themselves showcased it last month, but specific info on what it would pack inside, or on its release date and pricing is not unveiled for the time being. (via)
